Wolfgang Pauli, fizician laureat cu premiul Nobel (1945) a salutat aşa participanţii unei conferinţe ştiinţifice. Savantul s-a referit la faptul că toţi suntem radioactivi, adică milioane de atomi se dezintegrează în mod natural în fiecare oră în corpul uman.

Dar ce este radonul?

Radonul este un gaz radioactiv omniprezent, adică există în aer, în sol, în apă chiar şi în materialele de construcții. Dacă radonul este prezent într – o cantitate prea ridicată atunci contribuie la apariția diferitelor boli, în primul rând a cancerului.
